LEADERSHIP
Leadership is the ability to translate a vision into reality. It involves trust. And those inspired the trust can subordinate their ego and bring up good to others. A leader looks about the background details very carefully, defines the goal and makes his move. Mahatma Gandhi had no guns or powerful weapons but he had the power to move hundreds of people .H e had their trust and they walked behind him. A leader must have the qualities like being adaptable, positive, proactive and futuristic. All great leaders have displayed great perseverance. A leader’s personal example acts as a catalyst in inspiring others to follow him. The greatest desire that a follower has is to be identified with his leader .There is no such thing like neutral leader. Leaders are either good or bad. Only a few leaders are born, many are made. A leader must have a vision. Converting a vision into reality is all about leadership. Leader always lookout for opportunities or either he will create one. He is always proactive.
Traits of a leader:
Ø The capacity to have a vision: he should be able to focus about the future of his group .he should be a futuristic.
Ø A constructive sprit of criticism: some may say that criticism as demotivating. But there is a lot of difference between destructive criticism and constructive criticism. But if someone says that this decision could be modified and I know how to do it then undoubtly we can say that he is very good leader. A potential leader believes in alternative ways o doing things.
Ø Practical ideas: leaders can identify which ideas are practical and which are’t.It is this proactive attitude that makes a leader stand out.
Ø Willing to take responsibility: Responsibilities enables u to accomplish things .Leaders face challenges from these responsibility fulfill their goal from it.
Ø Charisma: leaders who have charisma are able to arouse strong emotions by defining a vision which unites and captivates them.
