Leadership Village YLP Art & Literature
Dusk was falling around Anne Frank Research Centre reminding us today`s show is over .It was a bit dark. Muriel had to go back. She was staying in “Bamboo Village ” a remote village , the place our Leadership Village is going to start a communication centre ,unique in many was Muriel came to India to research on alternative tourism. We are very proud to let you know that in one of the student projects of Lion University you can read about Living Library and Anne Frank.Thats our Muriel who we lovingly call"Buffy".The short form of “Buffalo“.In retaliation she calls me “Animal Emage”
We got a bus up to Muttil a place 5Kms from our township Kalpetta. From there Laila went to her home.We packed ourselves in an auto and tumbled down the country road .
After reaching our destination we had to walk a bit.Being a stranger in those parts I advised Buffy to be a wee bit careful.
“Hey Buffy …this is not your France.Need to be cautious at night. After all there may be shadyguys around. You know its human nature to …”
“But Animal!! I believe in human nature! Yes I do!!”
Dear Buffy taught me a big lesson that night. Now every day we are bestowed with the kindness of atleast one human being during our travelings in search of the soul of Leadership villages.
