How long can we hide a flame?
Laila Saein and Anil Emage, the driving force behind AFRC INDIA and Leadership Village YLP have been recognised by Gandhi Gramam Foundation-Kerala, for their selfless services in the field of rural education in Wayanad, which span an eventful 15 years. The first ever Vidyabhyasa Rathna Award was presented to Laila and Anil by Mr A.P. Hameed, Hon.Municipal Cahairman,Kalpetta-the district headquarters. Chief Editor and MD of People`s Review Daily Mr.T.P.Nizar welcomed the select gathering, which comprises of school, college students, civic associations and members of general public.Mr.Nizar lauded the die hard spirit of both Laila and Anil in pursuing their passion for education, even though faced with innumerable obstacles and limitations . The award is not only to honour them, but a salute for the innovation and bravery they have shown to surpass hostile situations and people, he added. Gandhigramam Foundation director Dr.Devadas, Kalpetta Municipality Counselor Mr.Prakashan, Dr,N.K Sreedharan and Dr.P.K Janardhanan were present at the function.

INDIA and LV, Anil Emage thanked the Foundation, saying this is the first
time he and his colleague were respected by their own people. The
activities of AFRC and LV have been well known and appreciated in many
countries as faraway as France, Saudi Arabia, UK and many states of
India. " How long can the flame of passion be covered by naked hands.
Though it took 15 years for Wayanad to realise the value of incredible
knowledge we possess, we are happy to reach here." Anil said.
