t’s me Sarathlal….
Yep! I’m a crazy guy. I had dreamt to become a Pilot in those childhood days. But later globalisation and its after currents directed me to the world of computers. Thanks to God I fell in love with Computer Programming. In my 5th standard I had learned ‘What is Computer?’, and the story starts from there. The first turning point. Throughout my childhood I went ahead with computers. Java, C, C++, VB etc, these programming languages are my passion. I had learned these advanced programming concepts from ST Joseph’s College Devagiri, Calicut, and got my degree on Computer Science. I had got many opportunities to working for MNC’s, but I spent a year to learn something new and shape my skills. I consider Internet is school for learning everything new. After a long 10 years gap I still cherish my childhood dream of becoming a pilot, I am sure one day I’ll fly with my childhood dream, and keep trying for it . But I am not ready to leave Computer programming. I want to become a computer guru.
Peoples think Wayanad is a backward, untouched by civilization, which is absolutely wrong. I’m from a small village called Kavumannam, one of the most beautiful villages in Wayanad. The name Wayanad comes from Vayal [Paddy ] & Nadu [Land], so agriculture is a passion for us. Except agriculture Wayanad is famous for Tourism, indeed a land blessed with nature`s beauty. Karlad Lake, Banasurasagar dam and Lady Smith forest etc are the tourist place in and around Kavumannam. “Gods own Village” is indeed the most appropriate byline for our Wayanad.
I had got my inner skills from AFRC. I developed Leadership skills, Communication skills and much more from AFRC. Before joining AFRC, I loved Computers only. Except Computers I like to travel and read. I’ve been all throughout the southern part of India and hope to eventually visit other places besides India sometime in the near future. I have got reading habit from my teachers Anil Emage and Laila Saein, They taught me the amazing world of reading. I had changed inside out after joining AFRC and interested with my trainers I am building a fine platform for leadership Village`s Young Leaders Programme. I love to give my small contribution with my computer skills; So we had formed Wayanad e User Group [WeUG] to support Leadership village YLP. WEUG does many computer related activities like updating AFRC computers with latest soft wares, designing blogs, teaching children and youth computer lessons and connecting more people to AFRC and Leadership Village. I’m very proud I became a Leader with the help of AFRC; I feel happy that I am doing my tiny role for the world of LeadCapAFRC leadership VillageYLP.
